Undergraduate Research

  • Analytical Modelling of Bluetooth Low Energy Protocol based Sensor Networks
Supervisor: Dr. Debashis Ghosh, IIT Roorkee (July 2016–May 2017)

    • Developed a mathematical model to analyse Bluetooth Low Energy protocol based sensor networks

  • Energy Harvesting Wireless Sensor Network design with Bluetooth Low Energy protocol
Supervisor: Dr. Neelesh Mehta, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru (May–July 2016)

    • Design a sensor network for a specific scenario using a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocol.

    • Developed a BLE protocol module on NS3 because of lack of professional BLE simulators. [Documentation]

  • Distribution-free Spectrum Sensing Technique for Full Duplex Cognitive Radio
Supervisor: Dr. Dhaval Patel, Ahmedabad University (August 2015–May 2016)

    • Used likelihood ratio based statistic for spectrum sensing for Full Duplex Radios was proposed.

    • Provided analytical formulation to estimate the detection error probability with false alarm probability.

Hobby projects

  • gr-bokehgui: Web based display for GNURadio [Link]
GNU Radio, Google Summer of Code 2017 (May 2017–August 2018)

    • Implement functionality to allow remote web-based interaction with flowgraphs using Bokeh.

    • Integrated with GNU Radio companion for easy and flexible usage.

  • MIPS Single Cycle Microprocessor using VHDL [Link]

    • Implemented a processor capable to run 7 basic instructions.

    • Added python script to convert assembly code to ModelSim Simulation script to provide a programming like interface to simulate the project.
